Aargghhh... I've done it again! Itchy fingers went to browse thru' Yahoo! Auctions and am now itching to just purchase yet another kit for myself. Oh manx... I alredi have more than I can sew. *takes a deep breath* I believe all stitchers feel the same way - when they see something, it just looks gorgeous and they just have to have it. LoL but I shall resist it this time. Besides, I've made an 'offer' to my parents... that the nxt time they drop by my place, I'll let them take a look @ the magazines my dad actually subscribed for me, and I'll allow them to choose any design they like. I'll complete it for them. Take it as I'm repaying for the gift they gave me =)
Of coz, that wouldn't be all. This I did not tell them. I'll bring them down to Golden Dragon @ Chinatown and let them browse the kits on sale there. I'll see which one catches their eye and get it for them as a gift, completed of coz. LoL yeah it seems that I'm the one getting the betta part of the bargain ehx? Having the perfect excuse to splurge and stitch, plus I'll be enjoying the experience of it all & not to mention, I'll savour the look on their faces when I present to them the finished project. Ah well... itz gonna be time-consuming & a tad troublesome, but parents are just worth it all.
Am now eagerly awaiting tbe nxt issues (Nov) of my mags. There's gonna be card kits for them both - just in time for Christmas!! All that's left is to get off my lazy ass & start planning the cards I'm gonna stitch - that list of mine that I've been thinking of doing, never got drafted. 10s the max I'm gonna do - but judging frm my schedule these days, I'll be lucky to even complete half the no. For my family, perhaps I'll do them something for the wall instead... am tempted by the 'burrow sweet burrow' design thatz gonna be published in nxt mth's Q&E (or was that Cross Stitcher?). Just no french knots pls!!
