Taken down the floss list for the stork - gee, there's more than I expected!! Gonna cost me about $15 to get those that I don't alredi have. Will pop over to Sagacity @ bras brasah later, b4 I go for my part-time job. Hopefully they'll carry the entire range. Itz a hassle going down to Spotlight @ PS just to get threads -.-" Checked out the estimated finished size of the design at the same time, and yep, fabric bought on Sun is more than enuff. In fact, will have sufficient to work the flying eagle piece & a couple more X'Mas cards (due to time constraint, am gonna just make tiny cards for most).
Ahhh just realised that I've yet to upload pics of Jackson's quilt - yep, the one that I've contributed a square to [Gary the snail]. Here it is... just place the quilt's front. Other pics are up for viewing at their Yahoo! Groups Page. Hmm most are in the member's photos section, but there are 2 pics of Jackson with it on the main.
Itz a shame that not all squares were filled. It could have been much prettier if they were. Am looking forward to be able to send in my next square soon. Hmm but perhaps I'll do it for another organisation instead of AusCole's Quilts again - considering that I've "signed up" for a couple but remained inactive. LoL maybe nxt time I'll choose one that requires a smaller square size? Heehee... yeah, bite me, but I do think that 30cm x 30cm is quite a waste of good fabric, considering that the design probably takes up only a quarter!! Plus smaller squares = cute quilt, isn't it? I just hate too much white space.
