Pig Zodiac Kit - Pinn [as and when]
Projects in Queue
Finished stitching it sooner than I thought I would. Way before Father's Day this year. All thatz left now is to mount it onto a card & it'll be done!! Been stitching a little here & there on the Goddess of Mercy kit. Manx ~ this is gonna take forever!! Lolx, coz the no. of stitches don't increase much day after day... seems as if I'm making zlich progress. Hopefully I won't give up halfway though. Itz gonna be a beauty when itz done.

Preparation for 'Goddess of Mercy' complete - divided the chart into 4 parts and tacked a around the fabric as a guidline. Hmm... will be starting the first stitches soon enough ^-^ Am now preparing the floss shopping list for the 'Superdad' card & since I've got a voucher, might as well use it to stock up on floss for other projects that I will embark on in the future. *shrugx* I know itz gonna be quite sometime b4 I'll have the chance to work on those... but it doesn't hurt getting the threads first rite? Lolx ~ it might just serve as motivation to work those in queue more quickly. All well, will just let my mood lead me :P

Doneth!! Can finally remove the kitten kit from the task list. And yeah my opinion doesn't change. A better frame is needed for this. And now... since I've yet to get the floss for the Father's Day card, might as well do tacking for the Goddess of Mercy. Thatz like so way overdue. *grinx* Will give myself a year's allowance since itz such a huge one.

Woops!! Forgot to take a picture of "Bears In Love" and the Aquarius that I've done up. Hmm... ah well, I finally found a suitable frame for the former... did it up and itz now no longer in my posession. So guess no chance for a pic there!! Damn. And I thought it looked pretty good after itz been mounted & all. Lolx.
As for the Aquarius thingy, yeah I'll get it up once I take a pic of it... itz @ my parents place though -.-" Guess gotta wait till after the renovation and all. Perhaps after I find a new set of frames to fit the entire set. Can't replace the ones that have been smashed. Apparently they are outta stock & doubt itz gonna be replenished. So gotta find a new way to display it. Such a shame. Those frames were perfect. Maybe I'll just get a huge frame & mount them altogether instead of going thru' the pain to find another set of 12 with 4 different colors to reflect the elements.
*grinx* Am behind schedule as usual. Managed to finish one of the kittens in time for my mum's bday. Sadly the frame doesn't do the stitching much justice, but thatz the best I could find at that point of time. Will re-frame it when I find something better. My ideal one is either something darker or a plain natural-wooden frame. If I really can't find anything ~ then guess I'll just respray the current one when I've got the time (and mood). Am still working on the back stitch for the last one. Wasn't in the mood to do any stitching for the past 2 weeks due to external factors. Ah well ~ should complete it within these few dayz.
Afterwhich itz off to shopping for more supplies. Gotta put off the Goddess of Mercy & Partners in Crime once again. Father's Day is next, found the perfect design in Cross Stitcher, and I don't intend to leave things till the last minute again -.-"
Speaking of magazines. My subscription to both Q&E and Cross Stitcher expired this mth. Guess I'll just apply for a Kinokuniya card soon, and buy the mags off the shelves. I just hope I won't miss them. Gotta check on a weekly basis. Not too sure if I'll continue getting Q&E though. Might opt. for The World of Cross Stitching instead, or maybe Cross Stitch Crazy. *shrugx* It'll really depend on my monthly budget & the designs in the mags. Of coz ~ if I could afford it, I'll get them all... but there are simply too many. Not to mention, I will never finish stitching all the designs I wanna. Well maybe I should just think less & finish those kits I've got in my posession before placing any projects on queue. Wish I had more time.
Anyway ~ thatz my 1st attempt at combining papercraft with cross-stitch. It was pretty troublesome. All that cutting, pasting... and ironing on of the interface behind those shoes. But guess the end result is worth it. I liked how it looks... and hopefully the receipient of the card likes it just as much. Ah well... *grinx* Whatever?
